Behaviors That May Result in Separation

Information regarding the student conduct process and sanctions that may be imposed can be found at The information below highlights behaviors that may result in a separation from the University. The below information is not absolute. Any violation can result in a Suspension or Expulsion depending on the factors and individual circumstances of the case.

  • Any violation of The Student Code if the student is currently on University Probation
  • Distributing alcohol and/or drugs to minors
  • Driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol
  • Falsifying University information
  • Participating in or inciting others to participate in the violent disruption of any University activity
  • Physical assault and/or abuse
  • Possession or use of illegal drugs such as heroin, cocaine, or medications not prescribed to the individual
  • Selling (or intent to sell), distributing, or manufacturing of controlled substances and/or illegal drugs
  • Sexual misconduct
