Behaviors That May Result in Separation

Information regarding the student conduct process and sanctions that may be imposed can be found at http://community.uconn.edu/the-student-code-part-iv/. The information below highlights behaviors that may result in a separation from the University. The below information is not absolute. Any violation can result in a Suspension or Expulsion depending on the factors and individual circumstances of the case.

  • Any violation of The Student Code if the student is currently on University Probation
  • Distributing alcohol and/or drugs to minors
  • Driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol
  • Falsifying University information
  • Participating in or inciting others to participate in the violent disruption of any University activity
  • Physical assault and/or abuse
  • Possession or use of illegal drugs such as heroin, cocaine, or medications not prescribed to the individual
  • Selling (or intent to sell), distributing, or manufacturing of controlled substances and/or illegal drugs
  • Sexual misconduct
